Programme of the conference

The aim of the conference is to discuss community health practices and initiatives aimed at LGBTI+ people. 

 

The various sessions over the three days of the conference will reflect on the history and development of community health. They will examine key aspects such as the integration of medical care into a community setting, the ability to reach all minority groups, the role of digital technology, the training of healthcare staff and current and future developments.

Conference presentations will be given in English or French and will be interpreted into both languages.

The objective of this first session is to lay the foundations for a mutual and shared understanding of the challenges that arise when talking about community health services for LGBTI+ people.

During this panel, the discussion will concern the determinants conditioning the relationship of LGBTI+ people to their health. It is therefore a question of understanding how individual and collective vulnerabilities impact the health needs of LGBTI+ people and their ability to meet them.

Participants have the opportunity to discuss with those responsible for the initiatives that were pitched just before the break. Each speaker begins by presenting their initiative in 5-10 minutes.
